From Pokhara we drove south in a hired car, to Lumbini (near the Indian border),
the birthplace of Lord Siddartha.
We visited the shrines and Beth had her Tibetan song bells blessed by the mother
superior of the Buddhist monastery.

Pokhara

Chitwan National Park was next. We stayed at the "Temple Tiger Lodge", a really cool
place in the jungle, where we got to see rhinos, elephants, croccodiles, monkeys and more.

And finally, back to Kathmandu by plane, to pack all our belongings and get on a flight
to Phuket, Thailand, where Beth and I spent three days relaxing on the beaches, eating
and getting massaged... before the long flight home to San Francisco.
